It has been decided that with all the happenings in the close season, we are desperate for a players meeting. It will be held the Friday before The Generals wedding (good luck Claire!) - Friday 5th June at our new base, Esh Winning FC.

It is vital that you make the effort to get up there - there is so much to talk about for the coming 2009/10 season. It will only take an hour of your time. If you are/aren't attending you can let Kieron know on the Steelers group on Facebook - if you don't do Facebook then just send him a text either way.

After 3 fabulous seasons at Quebec, playing from the Hamsteels Inn, Steelers FC are moving their home venue to Waterhouses. The board of management would like to thank the landlord, Billy Barron, for providing us with changing facilities and post match food and refreshments. Special thanks must also go to Graham Foster who kindly gave us use of the football pitch which was maintained superbly by Richard and Mel Hallam.

Our time at Quebec has been very successful since establishing the team and we can only thank all concerned for their help and input. The 2008/09 presentation will be held on Saturday 13th June with further details to follow later on how the day will be organised.

Is anyone available to help out dropping the goalposts on Friday night at approx 6pm?

Can you let Wilf Snr know so he knows how many people will be there, he is available via any method - phone, e-mail, carrier pigeon!

Last year we only had 5, 6 people would be about spot on!
